At 0500 hrs on Sunday 02 August 2020, UNDOF and UNTSO personnel representing all contingents reported to the event registration and weigh-in in Camp Faouar. With 10kg to carry and in their uniform, participants had to complete 20 km as part of the annual Dancon March - an event that is a Danish Defence tradition since 1972. All personnel put in a remarkable effort, especially given the temperature and altitude in the Golan Heights.
Cpl Gavin Sweeney of the FRC (Ireland) came first with an outstanding time of 1 hour 38 minutes.
